Introducing Nokia Nearby, an innovative 'Hyper-Local Search' application where you can look for information about local places & listings within your vicinity. Discover places & listings like restaurants, movie theaters, and malls etc even without maps on your phone. Get details about the places that interest you and contact them from within the app.

Known Issues:

For Touch & Type devices, interface works as a non-touch

N8 and full touch experience not optimized

Bluetooth transfer of the app on N8 & E7 causing problems

Nokia Nearby works on almost all S60 devices, except Nokia E51, Nokia N70, Nokia N72, Nokia N73, Nokia N90, Nokia 6600, Nokia 6630, Nokia 6680, Nokia 6681,Nokia 6682.

How to install: 

- Download the .zip file to your PC and extract the .jar and .jad files to a folder on your PC.

- Transfer both the .jar and .jad files to your mobile device over Bluetooth or USB.

- On your mobile device browse to the location where you saved the .jad and .jar files.

- Install the application by selecting the .jar file.
