XWord هو برنامج الكلمات المتقاطعة صمم ليكون شكلي للغاية.
انها تدعم مجموعة متنوعة من الأشكال : puz، XPF، jpz وipuz. يتضمن دعم الألغاز اللغز "خدعة" الألغاز والأحاجي diagramless، تدافعت / الألغاز مؤمنة ، وجهاز توقيت.

خيارات الطباعة الجديدة : التقدم الحالي ، فارغة الشبكة، والحل
يشار إلى الرسائل التي تم فحصها ووجدت أن الصحيح مع دائرة خضراء في الزاوية اليمنى العليا. لا يسمح لهذه المربعات يمكن الكتابة.
تغيير حجم الأجزاء نسبيا عندما يتم تغيير حجم النافذة.

عنصر القائمة الجديدة : محو الشبكة.
عنصر القائمة الجديدة : الساحات محو Uncrossed.
القائمة الجديدة البند / البند شريط الأدوات : دخول اللغز (سابقا يمكن الوصول إليها إلا عن طريق الضغط على INSERT)

الإصلاح الانحدار فيها. puz ملفات لم يتم تحميل المقاطع (مثل الموقت، والدوائر).
الألغاز Diagramless : تحطم الثابتة و / أو رسائل الخطأ على التحميل.
الألغاز Diagramless : النقر على فكرة لم يعد يتحرك المؤشر إلى بداية الكلمة (الكشف عن معلومات عن الشبكة).
يتم عرض بشكل صحيح غريب أنظمة ترقيم (XPF، انظر نيويورك تايمز 2011/10/21).

تشغيل البرنامج النصي إزالة عنصر القائمة من القائمة أدوات (المكرر : نظام الحزمة يجب أن تأخذ الرعاية من جميع احتياجات النصي).
XWord is a crossword puzzle program designed to be highly configurable.
It supports a variety of formats: puz, xpf, jpz, and ipuz. Includes support for rebus puzzles, "trick" puzzles, diagramless puzzles, scrambled/locked puzzles, and a timer.

What´s New in version 0.5.4:
New Features:
New printing options: Current progress, blank grid, solution
Letters that have been checked and found to be correct are indicated with a green circle in the top right corner. These squares are not allowed to be overwritten.
Panes resize proportionally when the window is resized.
Help files
New menu item: Erase Grid.
New menu item: Erase Uncrossed Squares.
New menu item / toolbar item: Rebus Entry (previously only accessible by pressing INSERT)
Bug Fixes:
Fix regression where .puz files did not load sections (e.g. timer, circles).
Diagramless puzzles: fixed crashes and/or error messages on loading.
Diagramless puzzles: clicking on a clue no longer moves the cursor to the start of the word (revealing information about the grid).
Odd numbering schemes are correctly displayed (XPF; see NYT 10/21/2011).
Removed Features:
Run Script menu item removed from the Tools menu (redundant: the package system should take care of all script needs).
