RSS Reader v1.11.5 Beta build-17 J2ME(Update).


The free RSS feed reader is a cell phone (mobile) J2ME/PhoneME MIDP application that is able to read most RSS servers/feed versions. RSS is a lightweight XML format designed for sharing headlines and other content like blogs and news. Data is stored on the device and updated on request. Read Wiki documentation for more details on which program to use.Add RSS feed bookmarks. The program can be compiled/built/run entirely with either proprietary or FOSS (Free and Open Source Software).

Allow optional import and complete loading of feed at the same time
(this takes much longer).
Small memory savings for parsing and saving.
Fix to allow parameters in links.
Show current max items on settings form.
Distribute RIM alx and cod file in a zip file for each version.
Allow settings to choose google or Skweezer mobility option to open links. This can help with large forms on underpowered devices. For google, there is a no picture option when opening.
Fix bad link for atoms which have both href and text.
Allow more date formats.
Fix bad links for RSS if initial capital image tag is in header.
Use base tag for HTML.
 
importsMidlet is designed to run on J2ME MIDP 1.0 devices so it will work also on older devices.
